"during mid 2022 when i first started using ableton i dreamt about making an album that i called care. there was a rough idea of how it should have looked, sounded, and been arranged. as time went on and i wasn't confident in the progress that was being made, i deleted the majority of it. after to nurture to cherish came out i wanted to try making something (mostly) in audacity. i thought i'd revive the idea of what i wanted to make before and this is the collection of what i put together from january to september 2024. i started with doing everything in smaller fragments, and cause of that ended up feeling motivated enough to make a track based off each month of the year. although the process did become a mess overtime and i became increasingly unsatisfied with the results, i still treasured the unorganized nature of it all and wanted to keep going. regardless of how i feel though, its another bookmark in this whole gnmoon thing, and i hope i can move on to something new and refreshing after this."

everything here is either a personal field recording, sample thats been paulstretched, blurred, or played through a vdj beatgrid. with different sources going through a panasonic rr-830 and other various cassette and micro cassette recorders fl studio 10 was also used for a big portion of this
